Ingredients

- 3 tbsp brown sugar

- 10 spring roll wrappers
- 1 egg (beaten, for sealing)
- 1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Apple Filling
- In a pan over medium heat, melt the butter and add diced apples.
- Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Cook for 5-7 minutes until apples soften.
- Mix cornstarch with water, then stir it into the apple mixture. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until thickened.
- Remove from heat, stir in vanilla extract, and let the mixture cool.
Step 2: Assemble the Spring Rolls
- Lay a spring roll wrapper on a clean surface in a diamond shape.
- Spoon 2 tablespoons of the apple filling near the bottom corner.
- Fold the bottom corner over the filling, tuck in the sides, and roll it up tightly. Seal the edge with beaten egg. Repeat for all wrappers.
Step 3: Fry the Spring Rolls
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat (around 350°F / 175°C).
